Yeds walk for Rob

OLDHAM TO ROCHDALE IN MEMORY OF ROB BURROW.

Following the sad news regarding the passing of Rob Burrow in his long fight with MND, we will be doing a walk to pay our respects and raise funds for the charities heavily linked with Rob and his family in the aim to find a cure for MND.

We are asking as many members of the Yeds, fans of Oldham and anyone who wishes to join us, to do so. ALL are welcome.

We will be gathering a list of those who wish to take part so we can send them an email with the Fundraising/Sponsored Walk form for those who want to get personal sponsorship for this walk.

We are speaking with the club to try and get anyone associated with the club to attend with us also.

We will be looking to speak with pubs/cafes on the way to allow stop offs along the way to get yourself refreshments or see friends and family.

We welcome those who cannot walk as far to join as much as they can or for those who can’t take part in the walk, to be at the stop offs along the way to welcome those walking!

We will set up a payment link for those who want to make a direct donation but we recommend that those who wish to donate, to do so via sponsoring one of the walkers.

We request that to join, you pledge £5 per adult to take part, this will help us towards our fundraising goal.

Details:

• We will be Walking from BOUNDARY PARK (OLDHAM) to CROWN OIL ARENA (ROCHDALE).
• Before the Derby fixture 28th July 2024.
• The walk will commence in the morning (times and route to be confirmed).
• Sponsorship forms will be sent via email.
